The battle had commenced. “Ki-ai!” called Kitsune, and brought his sabre down on Buggroff-ya’s holed wings. “Traitor!” roared the tyranic azure dragon. Truro aimed his Shining Foil carefully. “Shining Foil Boomerang!” he called, tossing it like a boomerang. The blade severed Buggroff-ya’s tail off, which hit Carlos and Carlnados. The impact lengthened their snake bodies by 2 metres. "Chris, let's try combining our weaponary." Liz suggested. CB raised an eyebrow. "OK." he said slowly as he held his Star Hammer up. Liz placed her Angel Staff on top of it, and the two positioned the weapons to look like a weird sort of crossbow. "Ready . . ." began CB. " . . . Aim! . . ." continued Liz " . . .Fire!" they called, and the staff shot from the hammer and impacted Buggroff-ya. The azure dragon was sent crashing clean out of Mount Draco. The rangers, Kitsune, Carlnados and Carlos followed out of the large hole created by Buggroff-ya. The large dragon now lay on his back, his eyes like slits. Kitsune raised his blade. "What are you doing?!?" demanded Buggroff-ya. "You, are the weakest link . . " he began. "STOP IT AT ONCE!" bellowed Buggroff-ya. "GOODBYE!" roared Kitsune, bringing down his blade. "NOOOOOOOOOOOO!" came a strangled cry, followed rather quickly by a terrible splat. "Ooh, nasty!" grimaced Dan. The now dismembered Buggroff-ya disintegrated into nothingness. Dan sensed the opportunity to leave, so he grew the Tardizord to normal and everyone but Kitsune boarded. "And now for you, rangers!" grinned Kitsune, turning round. But just before he could swing his blade, the Tardizord disappeared from view, leaving Kitsune to savour his first moments of freedom. Meanwhile, the Tardizord was now flying through the Time Tunnel. Tardizordon came into view on the column. "How did it go Rangers?" he boomed. "Well, let's just say that he 'went to pieces' after Kitsune got his revenge." Dan replied. Everyone groaned. Dan gave them a dirty look, then turned back to the column. "Now, only Yursucha remains." "And, no doubt, he'll be stronger than Buggroff-ya." Billy added. "That's right." replied Tardizordon. "Use extreme caution when you're face to face with him." "We will." Truro said. Minutes later, the Tardizord materialised in the Zord Hangar, and everyone got out. Billy made his way to the ZACC. "It's just as well we got the Zords on standby." said Liz. "Yeah, but they look a little grubby, don't they." added Carly. Dan changed into overalls and grabbed a pot of paint and a brush. He began to repaint the Tardizord, both the main one, and the travelling one. Truro grinned. "OK, I see where this is going. C'mon then, you lot." All the others changed into overalls, and joined Dan in painting their own zords. Back at Mount Draco, a shadowy figure of Yursucha Stupordhast sat in his predecessor's chair. "How dare that buffoon Kitsune kill my brother." he cursed. "I will avenge my brother's death, and see that Kitsune pays." He got up from the chair, went into the archives and pulled Lord Zedd's staff out of it. "Sorry, Zeddy." grinned Yursucha, nastily. "You snooze, you lose!" There then came a brief interlude of outrageous laughter . . . then dead silence as his eyes glowed menacingly. Elsewhere, at the Zord hangar, the rangers were finishing off painting, when Carly noticed a familiar figure through the window. "Guys, you-know-who is back!" she whispered. The other four rangers turned their heads at the same time. "PERVY!" they roared. Liz, CB and Truro were advancing to the door to put the pervert in his place, when they suddenly came to a halt. "Do you think we ought to let Dan take it from here?" suggested Liz. "Yeah. So far, us three have had a bash." agreed CB. Truro considered. "I don't see why not." he said, finally. "Dan, how about you take it from here?" Dan took off his overalls, and rolled up his sleeves. "Leave it to me." he said. "Don't worry, Carly. All will be fine." Dan opened the door and stepped out. "So! Spying on us, were you?" he growled at Pervy. The four rangers, Carlos and Carlnados cringed as a series of whacks and bleeps followed. Outside, Dan clapped his hands together. "Oww! That hurt!" groaned Pervy. "Serves you right for being a pervert, you dastardly twerp!" Dan snarled. He put two fingers to his mouth, and whistled. Carlnados immediately rushed to his side. Pervy gasped with pain. Dan and Carlnados winked at each other and glared at Pervy. "Now, I suggest you get lost before I set my friend on you." Dan said as he and Carlnados started advancing. Pervy turned and ran off at breakneck speed . . . right into a policeman. The same policeman who had arrested CB that time when Pervy was spying on Carly for the first time. "Oh, it's you again, is it?" he said sternly. "It's the cell for you, m'lad. You're under arrest for spying!" Back at the hangar, Dan and Carlnados looked at each other again and laughed. "That took care of him." said Carlnados. "It certainly did." agreed Dan. As they went back inside, there came a sudden burst of applause. Dan put his overalls back on and picked up his paint pot and brush. "The police have him now." Dan called to Carly. "Thank goodness. Flaming b . . " growled Truro. "TRURO!" Liz yelled. "Sorry!" grumbled Truro. Suddenly, he slipped off the Locozord, only to find he was being lifted back on by Carlos' tail. "Oh, thanks." said Truro. "Mind if I help?" asked Carlos. "Sure. Here you go." replied Truro, handing Carlos a brush. Pretty soon, the job was complete. After the rangers washed up, Truro said. "Perhaps it's time to go back to the ZACC." The rangers raised their eyebrows. "What? Was it something I said?" The rangers and nagas went up in the lift, and made their way to the ZACC. There, they told Zordon about recent goings on. "Right, the Zords are pretty much at their best." said Truro, rubbing his hands together. "Pervy showed up, but I soon sent him packing." Dan added. "Yeah, and now he's in jail." put in Carly. "Rangers, my sensors tell me that Yursucha has taken the seat of his brother at Mount Draco." came Zordon's voice. "What about Kitsune?" asked Truro as Dan went to the viewing globe. "He's waiting on top of Mount Draco. I expect he's waiting for us." replied Dan. "Aye yai yai!" stuttered Alpha. "Don't worry. We'll be ready." Truro said. Kitsune was indeed standing at the top of Mount Draco, listening to the death threats of Yursucha Stupordhast. "Stupid dragon." he said, disdainfully. Suddenly, he noticed the Tardizord. "Hah. The troops have arrived." grinned Kitsune. The rangers and nagas exited the Tardizord and Dan shrank it. "I don't know about you guys, but I have a nasty feeling that Kitsune's nearby." said Carly. "You're probably right, Carly." replied Truro. "But I think that's the least of our worries right now." "Truro's right. There's Yursucha to worry about." Dan added, pulling out his screwdriver. "Did someone call?" came a voice. "Oh, for the love of bleeps!" sneered Truro as Yursucha flew to where the rangers were standing. "What's that thing he's holding?" asked Liz. Billy realised what Yursucha was holding. "That's Lord Zedd's staff!" he gasped. "In case you're wondering, I'm waiting to exact my revenge on that nitwit Kitsune, because he destroyed my brother." growled Yursucha. "I cannot allow you to interfere!" he added, gathering a fireball in his mouth. "Oh, bloody hell!" Truro gasped. "Oh, Coo-ee!" came a voice. They all looked up and saw Kitsune perched on top of Mount Draco. "Looking for someone, Garlic breath?" "You will pay for your insolence!" roared Yursucha, taking flight. "Oh no you don't!" called Truro, throwing his Shining Foil. "I said 'Don't interfere!'" yelled Yursucha, deflecting the Shining Foil back at Truro, who caught it. Yursucha proceeded to shoot a barrage of fireballs at Truro. "Aqua Shot!" called Dan as he pointed his screwdriver at the fireballs. Jets of water shot out of the screwdriver, and destroyed the fireballs, thus saving Truro from a toasting. "That was close. Thanks, Dan." he sighed. "Don't mention it." replied Dan. Yursucha turned his attention to Kitsune, who had teleported behind him. He tried unsuccessfuly to torch Kitsune, but missed every time Kitsune teleported. "Tut tut. You are losing your touch, I'm afraid." taunted Kitsune, wagging his finger to and fro. This enraged Yursucha, who was turning from green to red . . . rather like a traffic light. "Teriaaaaa!" called Kitsune as he brought his blade down onto Yursucha. There came a large clang, rather like Big Ben,  and Kitsune shook in mid-air. "You fool!" laughed Yursucha, and swiped Kitsune into submission. "Shoot." said CB. "If he's not careful, he's gonna obliterate everyone." "Affirmative." replied Billy. "Ready?" asked Dan. "Ready." replied the other rangers. "Bloody Scanner MK 2!" called the rangers. "Morphin' Time!" called Billy. "Triceratops!" There came a sequence of morphing, which ended up in a smokescreen of colour. Carlos put his right hand on Truro's left shoulder, and Carlnados put his left hand on Dan's right shoulder. There came a brief flash, and Dan and Truro had temporary shields. "F.Art Zords, arrive!" called the Pencil Force rangers. "Triceratops arrive!" called Billy. The zords arrived and formed the Megazord. The Triceratops became a mini Megazord. "Let's make it four against one" said Truro as he and Dan grew to the same height as the Megazord. Suddenly, Carlos and Carlnados split from Dan and Truro. "Make that six against one." corrected Carlnados. They all jumped up at the same time . . . "Pathetic!" snorted Yursucha, sending a bolt of lightning down. It shocked Dan, Truro, Carlos and Carlnados, who returned to their normal sizes. They plummeted back to the ground. The nagas landed first, and caught Dan and Truro before they had a nasty accident. The two demorphed rangers opened their eyes and saw that they were unharmed. "Whew, thanks guys." Dan sighed, getting down from Carlnados' raised coils. Meanwhile, the Megazord broke apart as Yursucha fired energy at it with Lord Zedd's staff. CB, Carly and Liz hit the ground with a thud, and the Zords retreated. "Dear, oh dear. What a mess!" gasped Carlos. It just so happened that they had landed next to Kitsune, who was just waking up from his dose of pain. He got up. "Right, no more Mr. Nice fox!" he growled, and pushed off from the ground. "Back for more, Kitsune?" asked a now-madly-grinning Yursucha. Down below, Carlnados and Dan thought out a plan. Dan raised his screwdriver, and Carlnados held onto it with Dan. Concentrating their energy, the screwdriver lit up, and so did their eyes. "Hypnowave!" they called and looked up. A large beam shot out and hit Yursucha, who froze . . . for a second or two . . . and then destroyed the Triceratops zord. He had broken free of the Hypnowave. "Curses!" groaned Dan. "You ruddy vandal!" There came a flash of light, and Dan was sent flying, with Carlnados, into Mount Draco. Just moments before they impacted, Carlnados used a psychic power to reduce the thud into a slight bump. Dan, Carlos, Carlnados and Truro surveyed the area. CB, Liz and Carly lay face down on the ground. Billy limped over to Truro. Kitsune had fallen for a second time, and was looking worse for wear. Dan thought enough was enough. This HAD to end  . . . now. He ran forward. "OI! TRY AND GET ME, YOU STUPID GREEN NINCOMPOOP!" he called as he cuped his hand over his mouth. "Are you insane, Dan?" gasped Truro. "Very well!" came a reply, as Yursucha came hurtling down towards Dan, who clasped his hands together. "TIME FREEZE!" he called. Yursucha came to an abrupt hault. "TIME VORTEX!" roared Dan. A rainbow beam of light turned into a tornado from Dan's hands. Truro, Carlos, Billy, Carlnados and Billy looked on as Yursucha's skin started to peel away. There came a rush of wind from the intensifying vortex. "Aaaagh! STOP IT!" roared Yursucha as he tried to escape the shredding vortex . . . but failed. Dan then thrust his hands up and the vortex shot into space. "GOODBYE!" called Dan as the sky was lit up by a fantastic explosion. The Dragons were no more. Dan panted and fell to his knees, sweating. "You've done it." Truro started. Kitsune flew off a free fox, for now. "I don't think that's the last we'll see of him." Dan said, recovering from the panting. He took the Tardizord out and regrew it. Then, Carlos, Carlnados and Billy proceedid to drag Liz, Carly and CB inside as Truro shut the door behind them. Moments later, they arrived back at the ranger base, and took Liz, Carly and CB to the recovery room. Then, Dan, Truro, Billy and the nagas went into the ZACC, to get a report on the Zords. "They're not too badly damaged, rangers. They need to re-energize for a while." said Alpha. "Kitsune remains, but you got rid of the principal evil." said Zordon. "I congratulate you." "Thanks Zordon." said Truro, and he, Dan, Carlnados and Carlos exited the ZACC, content that things had quietened down for now.
