Weeks later, after the great fire of the art museum, life returned to normal in Shining Hills. At the Pencil Force Ranger Base,  The rangers were busy in the ZACC and the computer room. Truro was helping Cedric, Carlos and Carlnados tidy up the interior of the ZACC. Dan was in the Tardizord, making sure it was in good working order and in immaculate condition. Carly was taking photos from the balcony, and CB and Liz were updating the ranger’s website in the computer room. Carly had just taken a picture of a cloud formation, when she caught sight of a familiar nuisance. (Some say that he’d tried to turn the Power Rangers franchise into an anime, and that he was next going to take over the Sailor Moon franchise. All I know is), it was Nerd! Carly lowered the camera slowly from her eyes, and went a dangerous shade of red. Truro had finished helping Cedric, Carlos and Carlnados in the ZACC, and went into the main room. He crossed over to the balcony. “Hey, Carly. What’s up?” he said. Carly pointed. “It’s that anime mad nerd!” she answered, disdainfully. “Oh, it’s that little twerp, is it?” Truro growled. Nerd was now holding a tall flag in his hands with “Pencil Farce Rangers” written on it. This disgusted Truro. Then the little bugger started to sing “Pencil Force are tenth-rate rangers, they think they are the heroes, but as their leader seems to prove, they are absolute zeroes!” This, of course, was strictly untrue. It was now Truro’s turn to turn scarlet. This was the most insulting thing that happened since Pervy got CB locked up after the incident at M&S. As Nerd went into the chorus, waving the flag like a swimming fish, Truro pointed his pencil at him. “Spellcasting!” he bellowed. “D…I…S…M…I…S…S!” The nerd disappeared from below the base, and reappeared on top of the café roof, which Kitsune was on before his evil was wiped away from his memory. “Holy moley! How did I get here?” he wondered. Then he went into the “La-li-la” section of the song, and said some really vulgar and insulting words which really got Truro wound up. His eyes turned swirly, he glowed an angry red and he levitated. Yikes! The energy field grew. “Turbo Truro!” Carly gasped. She remembered seeing Turbo Truro when Carlnados was “born” before fighting Kitzilla for the first time. But this version of Turbo Truro looked particularly nasty. He glanced at Carly, grinned a nasty grin, and made his way to the unsuspecting Nerd. Carly stood, petrified. The sound of the Countdown Clock could be heard as the Tardizord appeared next to her on the balcony. Dan, who was inside, opened the door and stepped out. He noticed Carly was standing upright and rigid. Dan walked over to the balcony. As he turned to talk to Carly, he noticed that she was staring . . unblinking. “Carly? Are you OK?” Dan asked, flicking his fingers. He was concerned for his fellow ranger. “Tur – tur-turbo . . . Tru…Truro. . !” murmured Carly, in a scared voice, and then fainted. Dan quickly grabbed a nearby cushion and placed it behind Carly’s head. Five minutes later, she came around and Dan’s voice echoed as her sight returned to normal. “Carly? Are you all right?” “Huh?” blinked Carly. “Oh, er . . . yeah.” she laughed, uneasily. She felt around for her digital camera. “How’s the camera? Is it bro . . . ah, no it’s not. Thank goodness.”  Carly sat up and put a hand to her head. “ “What’s wrong, Carly? What happened?” Dan asked. “It’s that Nerd again.” Carly explained, grabbing Dan’s arm to stand up. “He insulted us and Turbo Truro’s gone after . . .” “Turbo Truro?” Dan gasped in alarm. “You don’t mean to say that he’s transformed into a nasty version of Turbo Truro, do you?” Carly nodded. “He looked very cheesed off, and as you can see, he’s glowing bright red. He has a bright red aura, I mean.” Dan looked out from the balcony and saw the rampant Turbo Truro floating ominously toward the hapless Nerd. “Strewth!” gasped Dan. With the red aura around him, Turbo Truro had set light to quite a lot of buildings, cackling lowly. With his head in his hands, Dan muttered to himself. “Keep calm, Dan, keep calm.” He took a deep breath and looked forward again. “Well, don’t worry yourself, Carly.” Dan said. “I’ll try and get some sense into him.” He was going to have a big job doing it, however, because Turbo Truro had reached his victim. His golden hair flashed furiously, and his eyes flashed red and black swirls took the place of red ones. Nerd was so busy singing that blasted song and waving that silly flag, that he didn’t see Turbo Truro until too late. The demonic Turbo Truro grabbed Nerd, tossed him into the air and threw him into the ground, which created a great crater. There was a loud bang, and a horrific crunch was heard in the crater on impact. Carly and Dan looked on in sheer horror. The clock tower struck two. “Ooh, nasty!” grimaced Dan. Carly turned pale and fainted again. “Not again!” sighed Dan, as he looked over his shoulder. Chris Burrell and Liz came to see what all the commotion was. “Carly!” gasped CB. “Is she OK?” asked Liz. “She’s perfectly fine.” Dan said. “She’s just fainted, that’s all. Take her to the medical room.” he ordered. CB took Carly to the medical room so that she could rest. Liz walked over to the balcony where Dan was drumming his fingers in anger. “Where did that bang come from?” asked Liz. Dan pointed to the crater in the ground. “You see that crater? That’s Nerd inside there, and Turbo Truro did that.” Liz looked up and saw a laser beam come toward him. “DAN, LOOK OUT!” shrieked Liz. “Whoa!” Dan gasped. He dived out the way to avoid Turbo Truro’s eye lasers, and it was a near miss for Liz, too. Dan, with a determined look on his face stood up again. “Now, you’ve gone too far! I have had . . . ENOUGH!!!” he roared, as he powered up to Super Dan. Turbo Truro, who now looked like the Fleetway Super Sonic, turned round and saw Super Dan levitating right next to him. “So, you really want to die that quickly, do you?” he grinned, devilishly. He fired his eye lasers. “Look out!” called Liz. Super Dan quickly teleported to about 1500 kilometres above Turbo Truro. “What?” grunted Turbo Truro. “Nah-nah, ni-nah-nah!” taunted Super Dan. “STEEEERRRRIKE ONE!” Turbo Truro sent a barrage of fireballs flying towards Super Dan, who moved his left arm clockwise and thrust it out.  “Spellcasting – R-E-B-O-U-N-D!” he called. The fireballs deflected from Super Dan as they made contact. “STEEEEEERRRRRIKE TWO!” he called. Turbo Truro growled, his hair shining even more furiously than usual. He turned and saw Liz staring at him. Grinning nastily, he made his way to the Ranger Base. “Don’t you dare harm her or that building, you demon!” Dan roared, and called on his Time Vortex. The vortex engulfed the Turbo Truro demon and whisked it off into outer space. “Three strikes and you’re out!” grinned Super Dan. Turbo Truro turned back into Truro, who back flipped onto the balcony. He opened his eyes. “Hmm? Wha..what happened?” he asked. He had become neutral again. Super Dan landed and became Dan again. Truro rushed to the balcony and saw the burning buildings and the dirty great crater in the ground. “Great fires of Pompeii! Did I do all that?” he asked. Dan and Liz nodded in unison. Truro’s jaw dropped.
